The Perfect Fit
The east coast of South America fits almost perfectly into the west coast of Africa! This was one of the first clues that continents had moved.
Fossil Evidence
The same fossils are found on continents now separated by oceans. The Mesosaurus, a freshwater reptile, couldn’t have swum across the Atlantic!
