Try them, get help one step at a time, then print how it went.
Practice: try it, then get help one step at a time
Checking points and reading the edge. Hint gives a nudge, Show next step shows one worked step at a time, Reveal answer checks, and Hide help / start over clears the card.

Exit ticket
On paper or an index card. Use the math word and the plain-English word.
- In your own words: how are the solutions of y = 2x + 1 and y > 2x + 1 different?
- Is (2, 7) a solution of y > 2x + 1? Is (2, 5)?
- For y ≤ −x + 3, name the boundary line and say whether it is dashed or solid.
- What is a half-plane?

- The equation's solutions are the points on one line. The inequality's solutions are a whole half-plane above that line, with the line itself left out.
- (2, 7): 7 > 5, yes. (2, 5): 5 > 5, no, it is on the dashed edge.
- y = −x + 3 (m = −1, b = 3), solid because the sign is or-equal.
- One whole side of a line: the region of solutions of a linear inequality.
