Try them, get help one step at a time, then print how it went.
Practice: try it, then get help one step at a time
Writing from a described region and eliminating described graphs. Hint gives a nudge, Show next step shows one clue at a time, Reveal answer checks, and Hide help / start over clears the card.

Finished the practice? Print a page that shows each question, what you typed or chose, the correct answer, and how it went. Good for showing a teacher or keeping in a folder.
Exit ticket
On paper or an index card. Use the math word and the plain-English word.
- A region's boundary crosses the y-axis at −2 and rises 3 for every 1 right; the line is solid and the shading is above. Write the inequality.
- What does a dashed boundary tell you, and what does shading below tell you?
- Name the three clues for eliminating graphs, in order.
- y < x + 2 against two graphs with the right boundary: one solid and shaded below, one dashed and shaded below. Which, and why?

- y ≥ 3x − 2.
- Dashed: a strict sign, < or >. Below: y less than.
- The boundary (m and b), the line style (dashed or solid), the shaded side (above or below).
- The dashed one: the sign is strict. The solid one breaks the style clue.
