Practice Problems
Try them, get help one step at a time, then print how it went.
Practice: try it, then get help one step at a time
Choose the tool, find the evidence, name the shape, and write the reason. Hint gives a nudge, Show next step shows one worked step at a time, Reveal answer checks (and gives a model sentence for the last one), and Hide help / start over clears the card.

Finished the practice? Print a page that shows each question, what you typed or chose, the correct answer, and how it went. Good for showing a teacher or keeping in a folder.
Exit ticket
On paper or an index card. Use the math word and the plain-English word.
- Which tool shows two sides are perpendicular? Equal? That the diagonals bisect each other?
- MNPQ has four sides of √13 and neighboring slopes −32 and 23. What shape is it, and why?
- Rectangle ABCD has A(1, 2), B(6, 0), C(10, 10). How do you find D?
- Write one sentence proving angle B is a right angle.

- Slope (negative reciprocals); distance; midpoint.
- A square: four equal sides and a right angle (the slopes multiply to −1).
- The midpoint of AC, (5.5, 6), is also the midpoint of BD; step from B through it to D(5, 12).
- AB and BC have slopes −25 and 52, which multiply to −1, so angle B is a right angle.
