Practice Problems
Try them, get help one step at a time, then print how it went.
Practice: try it, then get help one step at a time
Set up and solve, then set up and shade. Hint gives a nudge, Show next step shows one worked step at a time, Reveal answer checks, and Hide help / start over clears the card. Read every answer back into the story with units.

Exit ticket
On paper or an index card. Use the math word and the plain-English word.
- A show sold 30 tickets, adults $10 and kids $6, for $220. Write the system.
- Solve it and read it back.
- Bracelets $2 and 45 minutes, keychains $1 and 15 minutes, at most $20 and 360 minutes. Write both constraints.
- Is 6 bracelets and 4 keychains feasible? Why are the plans dots?
Check your exit ticket
- a + k = 30 and 10a + 6k = 220.
- a = 30 − k; 300 − 4k = 220; k = 20, a = 10. Ten adult and twenty kid tickets. Check: 30 tickets; 100 + 120 = 220.
- 2x + y ≤ 20 and 3x + y ≤ 24 (from 45x + 15y ≤ 360).
- Money 16 ≤ 20 yes; time 22 ≤ 24 yes. Feasible. Whole bracelets and keychains only.
