Grade 6 · Student Reviewer Program

Help Us Test These Lessons

These lessons are being written for students your age, for the parts of math that usually get taught as rules to memorise. Before other students use them, we need real students to try each one and say what worked, what was confusing, and whether the reason behind the rule actually came through.

1 lesson ready to review One form per lesson

How a review works

  1. 1Do the lesson from top to bottom, including the practice. Use the hints whenever you want. Nobody is grading you.
  2. 2Open the review form for that lesson and fill it in. Honest beats polite. "This part was boring" is useful. "It was fine" is not.
  3. 3Download your review as a PDF and send it to whoever asked you to review. Nothing you type is saved on the website or sent anywhere by itself.

If you would rather write by hand, each form has a button for a blank copy you can print.

The lessons

Do them in order where you can. Each one builds on the one before it.

The question we care about most

Every form asks whether the lesson explained something you had been told to just memorise. That is the whole reason these lessons exist, so that answer is the most useful thing you can give us. If a lesson handed you another rule with no reason behind it, say so plainly and we will rewrite it.
