In this lesson, we add and subtract linear expressions. Only like terms can be combined, and every term keeps its sign.

Lesson 1 was sorting one pile. Now we get two piles, and sometimes we take one pile away from the other. Same counting, more care with the signs.
Write it down. Do every change on paper, one line per step. Changing signs in your head is the number one reason for missed problems. If you changed something, it should be on the paper.
