Better buy. Which bag of chips is the better deal: a 12-ounce bag for $3.00, or a 20-ounce bag for $4.40? A better buy is the lower price for one, so find each unit rate in dollars per ounce.

The 20-ounce bag costs less per ounce, so it is the better buy. Same kind of units on both sides, dollars per ounce, so the comparison is fair, just like Mia and Jordan in Lesson 3.
